For Christmas, though I hate Christmas, and I'm all bah, humbug about it, I would like drawings of any of my characters. Either Darkstar, Sykes, Neo, Cricketfoot, Nitrogen... and whatever other originals belong to me. ^^

I have no life, because I'm already up to 43000 words in NaNoWriMo. And no, I don't plan on stopping when I hit 50k.
I love NaNoWriMo, though. It gets rid of all that nasty writer's block that I've had.

... and I recently (re)found Last.FM, and now I'm obsessed with it. XD

This is a somewhat pointless update, mostly just to show you all how much of a life I don't have. ;D Yep. No life for me.

I've been writing 4300 words a day and it's actually been easy. I just did the minimum stuff when I first started NaNo a few years ago.

But oh, my novel is of poor quality this year... and of course, there's the accidental innuendo that everyone on WW knows about. XD There must be over 50 instances or more of things that just -- y'know -- 'came out wrong'.

;D Anyways, I'm having a good day, and ... yay NaNo!

I've been looking over my art recently, and I've noticed one major problem... I cannot do anything realistic looking in the slightest. I don't think anyone's actually complained about this, but it sort of bugs me that everything I do has a cartoony style to it.

... So, I wanted to ask my watchers/friends what they actually think of this art style I'm developing, and is it unique or not, et cetera.

So... answer these questions in comments.

1. Do you like/dislike my art style?
2. Do you think I should try to draw more realistically?
3. Is my art style unique or unoriginal?

Also, yay NaNoWriMo! I'm writing a horror novel this year, in contrast to my weird Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels from the previous years. It's going well, and I'm using a writing style that's dissimilar from the one I usually use. ;D

... It turns out that a-ha's 2010 world tour is actually a farewell world tour. After their final concert in Norway, December 2010, the boys are retiring the band for good.

A-ha's music has got me through some really hard times. I love their songs, I own all their CDs, I think they're just the greatest. I'm going to continue to listen to their music for as long as I live. I'm near tears now because they're disbanding, though. No one was expecting that.

I understand that they have other things they need to do, and they're all getting older now, but it's still extremely sad.

But I'm going to their USA concert in 2010. I wouldn't miss it for the world. My first and last chance to see the boys play their beautiful music live.

I know there's never a forever thing, but it was ever so good while it lasted. I hope the sun always shines wherever Morten, Magne, and Paul go.

We had my birthday celebration today (my real birthday in on the 30th)! I got a brand new Toshiba laptop computer with Vista; ShamWow!; a ragdoll cat stuffed animal; socks galore; Pixarpedia (the Pixar encyclopedia); scarves; and a trip to Red Lobster to eat.

I'm very happy! ^^
